Pop Up Tent Reviews - The Camping Dome

This pop up tent has a style of its own. There are few "tents" which are not even capable of handling water proofing which are almost always avoided if you like mountain hiking type camping experiences. Especially on those mountain tops the possibility of getting "wet" is really higher than on a sandy beach. Fortunately this pop up tent is well capable of handling heavy rains.

This is certainly easy tent to set up. But if you're a beginner the first time might take some time but usually not more than 10 - 15 minutes. And also nowadays it's even better that there are many "how-to" videos also available. Lets have a look at the physical expressions at first. It measures 7x7 or 49 square feet and the height is around 50 - 53". This pop up tent is capable of giving room to three well grown adult but be aware in actual experience this is more likely two person tent but there is room for a third but depending on the body size the space may not be enough.

Not only the set up but also the wrap-up is easy once you get used to it. There is also a carrying bag supplied by default. It's not the world's lightest tent and weights around 10 pounds. This could be due to the pickets which are made out of "light" steel according to the manufacture. Anyway this is not a big issue but more likely a personal choice. For example if you're an older person and need something more light then the sun-shelter pop up tent is something worth looking into. So if you're okay with the weight issue then read on.

As said before this can stand with some rainy conditions and even just by having a look at the design you can see the curved roof-type canvas which is capable of letting some water flawing to the ground easily. There is a one window and also the main door and both of them are zipped. So opening and closing is pretty easy. The window can be used to see some glowing stars at night (you can just remove the inner canvas which leaves a glass-looking window and still closed which is pretty handy and no mosquito access - another standard feature in pop up tent designs).

So anyway as a summary the weight can be a issue for some people as said before and also sometimes the dissembling process takes a while. But the overall atmosphere inside the tent is very satisfying (including cool air flows). And the price is lower than many of other models (around $50). However if you're okay with these few shortcomings, well this may not be the best but this pop up tent won't disappoint you either.
