Pop Up Tent - The Sunshelter, A Review

This pop up tent from Bozeman is another popular item of the camping community. The company boasts about it saying it is compressible within three seconds (yep you heard me). Anyway the portability is among one of the main features of tents which makes the life of the user easy. Also if you climb a mountain to camp then the portability of your pop up tent is a must.

Another thing is that after the completion of the folding process it takes a rounded shape which is like a small umbrella. Thanks to the Nylon covering its capable of blocking UV rays and this is becoming almost a standard feature. Other physical dimensions such as the length is around 210 cm, width is 130-132 cm and the height is around 128 cm. It's really light for a tent and is set at just over 7 lbs. Among other accessories that comes with this pop up tent are the four stakes (for holding and giving some stabilization) and also a bag for store and carry around.

As you can see in the picture there are two windows at the both ends which can be opened or closed thus helping to get some fresh and cool air into the inside as a result the inside is kept cool and comfortable. Unfortunately unlike other tents out there this is not a water proof unit and if you need that feature then you'll have to purchase it separately when buying this pop up tent (optional water-proof cover with zippers).

There is also a video available which gives some tips for setting it up and it's embedded at the end of the article. Anyway back to the story again. This is can easily be used as a cover from the sun rays and the room is enough for 2 grown adults and 2 children to have some dinner altogether. But when it comes to sleeping I think this will fit two adults comfortably. This is not the bets specious pop up tent out there but certainly acceptable after considering its low price (around $40).

Another popular feature with the tent is the sand-fill-able pockets (two). They can be used against the heavy wind (especially if you're on a top of a mountain or a beach) and makes the unit stick on to the ground. Anyhow one of the biggest disappointments with it is the non close-able front side which is a big concern if you want some privacy and also if you camp in a more forest-type surrounding this is not recommended as you won't be protected against mosquitoes and other insects. So please keep these things in mind if you're going to buy this. Thank you and I hope you enjoyed reading this article about the sun-shelter pop up tent.

Pop Up Tent - The Sun Wind Shelter Beach, Review

This pop up tent from Sunny Trading company is actually a family oriented tent. One key feature about this is that it does not need help from from poles to set up and easy to wrap too. It also has the ability to block the harmful Ultra Violet or the commonly known UV-sun beams. Not only this tent can be used in beach but also in wet conditions such as heavy rains, this pop up tent is strongly capable of protecting the people inside from the outside sandy breezes too.

In physical expressions its 82 inches in width, over 50 inch in depth and around 53 inches tall. But the "tall" feature can be a bit misleading because in practical usage this pop up tent is a bit shorter (in height) than it's shown in the advertising campaigns. Anyhow this is not a big issue but if you're (let's say over 5.6") then you'll have to bend a little bit to go inside. And there are two large windows at both left and the right side of the tent which can come in handy for stare at the stars at night.

If you camp on open areas the wind can be a little worry because there are some tents out there which are not that good at avoiding or at least make a stand. But with this there are two pockets which can be used to firmly fit it to the ground so it won't loose the stability against the hard breeze (the four stakes are also doing a good job and worth mentioning)  Even though it's called a "family" type pop up tent in my experience I don't think more than two grown adults would fit there. But there is a bit of a room for someone small, anyway it won't be much comfortable.

Another cool feature is the easily open and close-type "door" (a zipper type). This is a must have a feature if you choose to set up the tent in a crowded area. Again the folding process can a bit difficult with the wind sometimes especially on an area like a beach. But then again you really can complain much about that for this pop up tent tent because there is actually little anyone can do to avoid such natural difficulties.

So to wrap thing up no matter what product you choose almost all the time you'll have to face some difficulties concerning the dissembling and can't really complain about it. Anyway after considering the price (around $80) you won't be disappointed with overall usability of this pop up tent.
